REGULATIONS AND SANCTIONS FOR COLLEGES SAKER BAPTIST COLLEGE LIMBE

In the Annual Principals’ Meeting of the Cameroon Baptist Convention Colleges held at NKWEN BAPTIST CENTRE – BAMENDA. 23rd June, 1992 and chaired by the Baptist Education Secretary the declining disciplinary problems in her colleges came up as a matter of grave concern.
After serious discussions the following resolutions, rules, regulations and sanctions were arrived at:
That all Baptist Convention Colleges must follow common sanctions in what the Convention considers as serious offences.
That the sanctions go into effect from September 1992.
That the sanctions where need arises, … are reviewed yearly at the Principal’s annual conference of the Baptist Convention
That a copy of these regulations are deposited at the respective Delegations of National Education for North and South West Provinces.
That these sanctions warrant suspension and dismissal but that individual colleges still have sanctions for offences of a less serious nature outlined in a different document.
That each suspension is followed by the student returning to school with his/her father, mother as sponsor and not just any family relative.
That the sanctions shall be signed by the students in triplicate copies (i.e.),
one left in the college file of the concern.
Another copy sent by the student to his/her parents/sponsor and;
The third copy retained by the student for personal consultation.
